Flight and Faith

The Wright Brother's will go down in history as some of the most famous inventors of all time. Their invention of the controlled airplane has led to the ability of humans to travel to any part of the world by air.
One thing that they will not go down in history for is for being some of histories most famous failures. The number of times that the brothers failed at their attempt to fly is unknown, however what they are recognized for isn't their failures but their success.
We fail to see that their failures allowed the success to happen.
When it comes to our faith, this too happens to be the case most of the time. We make mistake after mistake and we end up in this rut of doing the same thing time and time again. We need to slow down and take a page from the Wright Brothers and learn from our past failures.

Someone once said that you cannot change the past but you can change the future. This is true but ONLY IF you learn from the past.

the wright brothers didn't have a pilot's license.
We will never be 100% prepared, educated, or ready. We must takes steps of faith and calculated risk.
I pass the Wright Brother's Memorial everyday when I go to work and come home. They kept at it. Just think how much flight changed in their lifetime. Unbelievable!
