You see Morpheus here presenting Neo with two choices, a red pill or a blue pill.

The blue pill represents his current life and by taking that pill life will continue as it always has. He will continue to go to work, come home, and do nothing. His life will not change.
The red pill represents something completely different. It represents the truth and by taking the red pill, Neo ultimately rejects the blue one.

Morpheus tells Neo that there is only one thing that he can promise Neo by taking the red pill and that is the truth.
Not an illusion or a false perception of reality but the TRUE picture of what reality is.

Jesus gives us the same type of choice in life. He says that there are two roads in life to take, the wide or the narrow. Just like Neo, you and I are faced with the choice of which direction do we want to choose. What have the wide road, the road that seems to be ok that seems to be safe. Its the road that we have traveled for years, its comfortable to us. Its where we have fun, enjoy life, and satisfy our pleasures.
Then there is the other road, the narrow one. The road that seems like no one else is on. The one that is unfamiliar to us and at times down right scary.

Just like Morpheus, Jesus promised something about each choice. The wide road is promised to lead to destruction however the narrow road is promised to lead to life.

We are faced with the choice to choose the truth or reject it. Those are you options and we are faced with the choice to follow His truth or reject it. The choice is ours.

One thing that Neo experienced by taking the red pill was that his entire life from that point forward was transformed.

When you choose the narrow road, when you choose Jesus, your entire life from that point forward is transformed.

The question is, which road are you going to take?
What keeps you from choosing the narrow road?
